It is one thing to play music in one of the most beautiful destinations on the planet. It’s another thing entirely to do so for a crowd as committed to partying as this one! Jack & Jasmine could not have been a more gracious couple leading up to the big day, and their humble nature was a scarce indicator of the unhinged soiree we would encounter on the Big Island of Hawaii. The dance floor was packed from the first song of the night through the last, with the exception of a short intermission for a customary Hawaiian fire-dancing show. There were dance circles, crowd-surfers, and air-guitars galore. The most rewarding part of performing in a cover band is that visceral connection we form with a music-loving crowd. All told, Crowd Theory’s adventure to Hawaii was one of our most rewarding musical experiences to date!
