Marcus Brown AKA M. Aurelius is a career DJ & producer based in Los Angeles. Growing up, Marcus spent his Saturday mornings cleaning house with the sounds of Motown, Philly Soul, Doo Wop, Disco, and Funk. His interest in music expanded while listening to his older sister’s tape collections of new and emerging music such as Tribe Called Quest and Busta Rhymes. His eclectic taste has inspired his definitive sound, as well as his motivation to bring an energetic and nostalgic experience to his clients. With a background in music theory, DJ Aurelius has a keen ear that lends itself to his deft mixing style. Over the years, Marcus has performed for major corporate events and private parties both in California and across the US.
